I'd like to be able to add percentage based charges to rates, a booking and/ or parts of a booking


This feature should let me

  • define and manage these charges myself
  • define the time frame that these charges are active
  • define when these charges are active based on the locations involved in a booking
  • define which clients these charges are applied to
  • define the order in which percentage based charges are applied (e.g. before FAF)
  • define groups of charges and extra charges that are applied these charges (e.g. Administration fees wouldn't get an Earth Quake surcharge, but Cartage charges would)
  • view the resulting percentage charge in real time


Company

I would like to be able to assign a discount or surcharge to a company.

e.g. For the month of June I'd like Client A to have a 10% surcharge on all of their rates


Scheduled Rates

I would like to be able to assign schedule rates to a client, but at a discounted or penalized amount.

e.g. Client A uses schedule rates but with a 10% discount


Booking

I would like to be able to apply a percentage based charge directly to specific bookings.

e.g. Booking 123 resolved to $200.00 but I'd like to be able to override the charge amount with a 10% discount 


Charges/ Extra Charges

I would like to be able to apply percentage based charges to any charge in a booking based of the content or components of a booking.

  • Booking type
  • Commodity
  • Pickup site
  • Pickup area
  • Delivery site
  • Deliver area


e.g. When a booking is picked up from the Auckland region I'd like to be able to apply a regional fuel levy to all cartage charges and extra charges in the booking (before FAF)

e.g. When a booking is picked up or dropped of in Kaatia I'd like to be able to apply a Earth Quake surcharge to all cartage charges in the booking (before FAF)
